Microfinance Program

Giving People in Need a Chance

Microfinance can help reduce poverty, inequality, and vulnerability by creating opportunities for entrepreneurship and self-reliance. More than 32% of Egyptians live in poverty. The poverty rate is much higher in rural areas, especially in Upper Egypt, where it reaches nearly 43%.

It is an opportunity for you to help people in need start or grow their own businesses, earn more income, and lift themselves out of poverty.
That’s what our microfinance program is all about!

At THAWAB, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to improve their lives and achieve their dreams. That’s why we offer microfinance services to the people in need. We help them start or expand their own businesses, increase their income, and improve their quality of life.

We trust that microfinance is an impactful and sustainable form of charity, so we provide small loans to people who need them most.

  • Women and bread-winners
  •  Craftspeople potentially business
  •  Vulnerable groups

We provide our beneficiaries with the support they need to succeed. We monitor their progress, provide guidance, and offer training to assist them in growing their businesses.

But we don’t stop there. We also create a network of interrelated businesses that enhance each other’s productivity and profitability, where each business contributes to the success of another one, creating a virtuous cycle of mutual benefit.

By doing this, we form a network of mutual support and cooperation among our beneficiaries. We help them become more resilient and successful while creating a positive change in their lives and communities.

Since our establishment our microfinance program in XXXX, we have managed to reach over XXXX beneficiaries across XX governorates in Egypt. Our total loan portfolio is over EGPXXX, with an average loan size of EGP5,000 –10,000.
